Message

MESSAGE Management

The MESSAGE feature in Aegis PMS provides an internal communication system for managing notifications, alerts, and staff messages within the platform. It helps users stay updated on important tasks, approvals, and system activities.

Typical uses include:

  • Notifications: Alerts related to gate pass updates, system events, or security notices

  • Internal Messages: Communication between departments or staff regarding requests or issues

  • Reminders: Updates about pending actions, deadlines, or tasks


View Existing Messages

To manage system messages:

Navigate to:
Application → Tools → MESSAGE

On this screen, you can see all messages that have been created and are still unattended.
You may use the available search fields to filter messages.

Add a New Message

To create a new message:

  1. Click the pencil icon or press ALT + 2

  2. Enter the required information

  3. Save the message

Attend a Message

After a message has been addressed:

  1. Search for the message using the search filters

  2. Click the three-dot menu on the left side of the message

  3. Select Attend

The message will then be marked as attended.
