The "Rate Variance Report" in Aegis Software provides a detailed comparison of the actual room rates charged versus the standard or expected rates for a given period. This report helps in tracking discrepancies between the intended pricing strategy and what was actually charged to guests.

Key Features:

• Rate Comparison: Shows the difference between the standard rate and the actual rate charged to guests.
• Guest Details: Includes the guest’s name, room number, and booking reference.
• Date & Time: When the rate variation occurred.
• Rate Type: The type of rate applied (e.g., rack rate, discounted rate, corporate rate).
• Reason for Variance: Identifies the reason behind the rate change, such as promotions, discounts, or special requests.
• Revenue Impact: Highlights the financial impact of rate variance on the hotel’s overall revenue.
