Cancel Check In

The "Cancel Check-In" functionality in the front office (FO) module of a PMS (Property Management System) allows for the cancellation of a guest's check-in process and reverting the reservation status to a pre-check-in state. It enables front office staff to handle situations where a guest decides not to proceed with their stay after the check-in process has been initiated. This feature helps manage reservation cancellations effectively, update room availability, and handle any associated billing adjustments in a smooth and efficient manner.

It is a process of cancelling a check in.

To do the Cancel Check In process, go to the Front Office >> Transaction >> Cancel Check In.

You will see the following screen and fill up the general information by filtering by All, Group, Company and give appropriate reason of cancel.  After that, you will see the list, click required list for cancel check in. Press the Alt + C to cancel check in, press the Alt + L to clear it.
