Block Inventory

The "Block Inventory" feature in Aegis Software is used to reserve or restrict certain inventory items from being available for general use or sale. This setup typically includes:

  • Inventory Reservation: Temporarily blocking specific stock items for a particular purpose, such as VIP guests, maintenance, or upcoming events.
  • Stock Management: Ensuring that blocked inventory is not mistakenly allocated or sold until it is released.
  • Custom Blocking Rules: Defining conditions under which inventory can be blocked (e.g., date range, quantity, reason).
  • Real-Time Tracking: Monitoring blocked items and their status to prevent shortages or operational disruptions.
  • Automated Release: Setting up automatic unblocking based on time frames, usage, or approvals.

 

Go to the Front Office >> Setup >> Block Inventory.
