Recipe

Recipe in the Costing module of a PMS (Property Management System) refers to a detailed list of ingredients or components required to create a specific menu item or product. By accessing the Recipe section under Costing Setup, users can add and manage recipes for various dishes or items offered by the property. This involves filling out the required fields, such as the ingredients used and their respective quantities, which enables accurate costing calculations and analysis. Once a recipe is added, it can be saved and viewed in reports, providing valuable information for managing and tracking costs associated with menu items or products within the property.

To add recipe, Go to Costing >> Setup >> Recipe,

As shown below we can view page where we will start setting up our recipe by filling required fields. Those fields are related to the items required in recipe and the amounts of items used. We can see that while filling out the fields which will help us in costing and many more. 

After we add recipe we can save the recipe and view it iin the report which will help us in managing costing.

We can also add open item recipe or open recipe by clicking on the icon shown below in the page.
