Module And Page Access Right
In Aegis Software, "Module and Page Access Rights" likely refer to the permissions and restrictions set for different users or roles within the system. This feature controls who can access certain modules and pages based on their role or responsibilities. Here's a breakdown of what it might involve:
Module Access Rights
- Control User Access: Determines which software modules (e.g., Finance, HR, Gate Pass, Complaint Management) a user can access.
- Role-based Access: Only users with specific roles (e.g., Admin, Manager, Staff) can access certain modules based on their job responsibilities.
- Security: Ensures sensitive data is protected by limiting access to specific users.
Page Access Rights
- Granular Control: Defines which specific pages within a module a user can view or interact with. For example, within the HR module, a user may only be able to access the "Leave Requests" page but not the "Payroll" page.
- Permissions: Can control actions like viewing, editing, creating, or deleting data on certain pages.
Purpose
- Data Protection: Restricts sensitive information to authorized personnel only.
- Improved Efficiency: Ensures users only have access to the tools they need to perform their job, reducing distractions and mistakes.
- Audit Trail: Helps track who accessed or modified specific pages for compliance or auditing purposes.
To see activities of all the users, go to Application >> Report >> Module And Page Access Right. You will see the following screen. After that, at first select the specific user and then date to see all the activities of that user.
